    Just got this Baby Recently, one of the Rarer Memory Mans from what i’ve seen, also known as the ‘Economy’ Memory Man.

    Haven’t had a chance to plug her in yet (Still looking for a U.S. to U.K. adapter plug) but I know it already needs some work (Not to mention new knobs and a polish)

    Anyway… From the very few pictures i’ve seen of these, they all seem to have Blue Lettering, is mine a ‘Violet’ Model or has the Paint just gone weird on the front over time or due to tampering? Anyone know?

    But Here She is… my First Vintage EHX and First Memory Man too!

    Notice that Vintage 70s Fluff in the Top Right from the Inside too… that’s where the Mojo is.

    EHX often used different colours on the screen print…

    that’s the converter I use for USA pedals, cheap and works fine, you don’t need anything heavy duty for a pedal.

    also I see you need some knobs?

    those are the ones…. not cheap and postage is quite high from there (around £6) but I don’t know anywhere in the UK to get them, I do order from Banzai quite often though, so I could always pick some up and them forward them on to you regular 1st class if you wanted, that would work out a bit cheaper.

    Grabbed it Via a Forum Member (Different Forum) had been a project that didn’t get finished.

    That’s the sorta Power thing yeah, hoping to grab one on the cheap from a pound shop or something just for while I get it all running again, unless I sell something online and get some funds in my Paypal anyway in which case i’ll just nab that.

    Yeah i’d seen Banzaimusics knobs, don’t think anywhere else is doing the Davies knobs at the moment (Other than smallbear but not for the D-Shaft) I worked out the cost of all the parts I needed to repair this and bring it back closer to original specs and pre-postage it came to about £16 which isn’t too bad in the grand scheme, i’ll probably wait till I need some more specific parts from Banzai and order it all at once to make it more worth it.

    pound shop… :) just be careful it’s not just a plug adapter because if you put 240v into it it won’t like it at all!!

    yeah, £16 sounds ok… well worth it on a pedal like this I think.
