Home › Forums › Vintage EHX › Vintage LPB 1 wiring the battery clip
Hi Everybody! I just registered , so this is my first post. I bought a 70’s LPB 1 on Ebay and when I received it the red wire on the battery clip was disconnected. The black wire is connected to the switch and I think the red gets soldered to the back of the pot (volume control) but I’m not sure. I’m sure somebody here knows. Can somebody help me out? I’ve been looking for one of these for a long time and this is the first one I’ve found that actually looks like its original. I’ve seen others but they were missing the correct parts.
I’ve tried the new ones but their just not the same sounding little preamp. Back in the day, this little box was the only way I could get that Magical sweet sound out of my old Ampeg reverberocket amp I bought for cheaps. To my surprise this little pedal worked on my little pignose 7 – 100 too. Oh how I wish EH would build these the same way again. oh well, sorry for the rant, its in my nature to do so I guess. Back to the question again. I found a picture but I can’t see it good enough to tell.
Can someone tell me for sure where the Red wire get soldered to? Thank you.
Nicodemus.
Help/Technical Questions sounded like the right place to post Mr. MOD
