Home › Forums › Vintage EHX › Vintage Electric Mistress 18V – power supply info…?
Hello,
I just ordered a vintage Electric Mistress pedal, the older one with green lettering. To my knowledge this is an 18V pedal (accepts two 9V batteries).
I’ve never actually seen one of these pedals in person. Do they have an input jack for an external power supply? If so, what type of input is it (1/8″ jack, or…)? Is there a current power supply unit that can be purchased that will work with this pedal?
I do have a power supply “brick” with an 18V output… hopefully it would just be a matter of me getting a cord with the right jack on the end to fit the pedal.
Any other info regarding this subject appreciated.
(PS – I never use batteries in my pedals, always use external power, so hopefully I can figure out an external power option for my new vintage EM. Thanks!)
It has a 1/8″ jack on the back for an 18vdc supply. The plug is 1/8″, positive tip.
Beautiful. I have a power brick with an 18V output and a cord for the brick with 1/8″ jack, positive tip… looks like I’m all set.
Thanks so much EH Man, you’ve been incredible helpful.
Hey EH Man,
I have a small clone and an issue j small stone. Both have the 1/8″ input for power supply on the back. Where can I get the correct supplies for these? 1/8″….? Thanks.
