Yes, but I’m afraid there’s not that much data for the UK… I’ll have a look…
ah, of course….
I just want F&EHX;to realise how lucky he is!!! LOL! 😆
November 26, 2008 at 3:28 pm #87746DiscoFreqParticipantFor some of the new pedals it’s even cheaper (again: no BIN’s, so only secondhand), for the older models it’s usually a bit more than in the US, but there are exceptions (clockworks, attack decay,…).
The problem for the really rare models (like those exceptions) is that the number of sales is too low for real conclusions…

Queen Triggered Wah ($234.51)
Clockworks ($236)
Mini-Synthesizer ($262.516666666667)
Attack Decay – Tape Reverse Simulator ($434.43625)
Talking Pedal ($444)I’ve never seen any of those pedals go for those prices! What am I doing wrong? They aren’t cheap, but those prices are lower than the auctions i’ve seen.

December 2, 2008 at 7:35 pm #88038xanthicMemberI don’t know how much I paid for it because it comes from an absurdly intricate net of trades and stuff, that’s why I’m posting macho-pictures of it here (and hi all, hope it’s a good first post), to hopefully know how much people would pay for it.
It’s been modded with true bypass, *sobrightitsdangerous* blue led and expression pedal. I’m also pretty proud of its conditions!

She’s a real beauty
In last couple of years I’ve sat on the edge and dawdled over buying a vintage Freq Analyzer, but never pulled the trigger. I should have when the prices were still reasonable. They’re very expensive now.
Any soundclips?

Never tried to make one with the equipment I have here, since I’d be constrained to record with the laptop microphone or passing thru a POD or Guitar Rig… But I can give it a shot, as soon as I have some free time.
It’s a very weird effect, it hasn’t much to deal with the reissue (but I’m basing my statement only on soundclips and demos I heard), it’s very extreme and colorful, it can get pretty similar to a chorus but with a completely different width, if I can say. It’s so complete sounding you can use it on rhytmic phrases also, like you would do with a distortion unit (especially when you set it on key).
I couldn’t be happier about it
December 2, 2008 at 8:38 pm #88063julianModeratorI don’t know, from the old DEVO recordings it sounds pretty similar, though there are some differences to my ear.

But I might be wrong, that happens quite often
December 2, 2008 at 8:47 pm #88067tubezipperModeratorI feel like a vintage clone theory and hot tubes
December 2, 2008 at 9:43 pm #88085Ned FlandersModeratorI got a great deal on vintage EH, its was a 1978 opamp big muff with tone bypass, it was a BIN price of US$100 so I hit buy. Best pedal deal I’ve ever gotten.period!
I see mostly that old NYC big muffs go for over $200-$250 so I’m happy about it.
The other day on ebay there was a big muff fuzz wah for US$120 BIN. WTF? no one bought it either.December 2, 2008 at 9:48 pm #88087julianModeratorQuote:Quote:I don’t know, from the old DEVO recordings it sounds pretty similar. You know, I never heard a reissue except for demos so I can’t be sure of what I said but hearing for istance the Peter Stroud demo the reissue sounds more subtle and precise, while mine is pretty rough and thick.

Yeah, Peter Stroud’s video he tames it pretty well.
It’s a wilder pedal than he makes it out to be.

I suprised F&ehx;never bought that fuzz-wah!
I see loads of bargains on ebay (US) but a lot of the time they won’t post it over, do you have the same problems getting people to send stuff over your way?
btw, I’m happy to see you here.
