    I have looked in goggle and not seen one like this.
    Is it unique or valuable?

    Those are pre-1976 or even earlier (1973?). I’ve seen them in one of the earlier catalogs.

    How does it sound?

    I have one from the late 70s, and I think it does a great job of sustaining clean single note leads, melodic lines, or ambient work:, but it’s just too noisy for me to use with chords.

    Not unique but pretty rare, probably quite valuable to a collector, but I have no idea how much someone would be prepared to pay for it as, like you say, you don’t see them often.

    Sounds pretty good to me !
    p.s. the audio on the youtube video is not a demo of the box (just me goofin around)
    Is this effect box version 0 or 1 of the Black Finger ?
    The common older one has a finger graphic on the box.

    Version 0 would probably be a prototype so this is V1 of the Black Finger.

    ive got one of these as well, was never sure of the year. i assumed it was a v1
