Hello all,

I had the good fortune today to pick up a vintage Bad Stone. The downside is that despite being quite a nice overall phaser, any movement of the rate dial over 3/4s (3pm) results in a thumping/whirring “motorboating” noise. Settings close to this point also have ghost noise. Having checked YouTube footage of other units I note the BS can achieve quite extreme sounds throughout the range of controls, which mine cannot.

Has anyone experienced the same problem and what possible fixes could there be?
