Hi, has anyone both vocoders or tested them both?
i was thinking of getting the iron lung – it’s small, sounds great (from the vid) and is a no-brainer. also it has unbalanced guitar out, therefor it’s easy to implement into your normal setup and get the vocoder-sounds through your FX-chain to your amp. sounds easy.
my question is – the V256 has vocoder-output only via the XLR mic out?
is it possible to take this output into your chain to the amp or do you have to go to a board?
2nd: the unbalanced out here is only guitar signal out?
and how about feedback?! is that a problem live?
because – the V256 is only a little more expensive and has so much more options…
best regards
diego
I’m in the same boat,
I’d quite like to see an in depth review of the Iron Lung.
