    hey folks, just spent the day enjoying this fine peice of equipment, i was just wondering what kind of microphone is recommended for optimal results?

    I just got one and i’ve been using a Shure sm58 Dynamic with the gain set to “high”. without some kind of Input Meters though its hard to tell how hot the signal is relative. its definately not distorting and i have to be quite loud into the mic to get a good effect so i’m guessing a hotter microphone might be better.
