I have spent all day trying to get a response on the midi input. It works ok with mic and guitar but the midi is totally dead. Yes I read the manual and set the midi channel to 16. Makes no difference. I also read that I could send a CC 125 Omni on command to make it respond normally on midi… It doesn’t respond to that either.
To send the midi command I used an ipad touch midi app together with iRig midi interface. I had to be sure the ipad software and irig midi were not the problem so I used the ipad app to control program change on my Roland VG99 guitar FX. I was pleased to see the roland changing patches as I dragged my finger over the iPad virtual controller.
A shame then that I can’t get any response at all from the V256 on midi. I know some others have had the same issue with the unit because I read there forum posts here.
Just wondering if anyone has a clear solution? I guess if it won’t work on midi I will send it back and buy a TC Helicon Voice Synth.
Well I have given up now. 6 hours trying to get the midi to work. I don’t see anything else I can do.
I set the midi channel to 16, send a CC 125 again and again. Nothing.
