    Hi-

I called and asked someone at your main office about whether or not anyone had used the B9 w/ a harp, and his answer was, “Why would a harmonica player want to sound like an organ?”….

Weellll….my response was “Why would a guitar player want to sound like an organ?”

    ….silence….

In any case, with that wealth of knowledge, I decided to find out for myself….went to Guitar Center in East Brunswick, NJ w/ my harp amp and mic ….and lo and behold…sounds pretty good on setting #1, w/ Mod and Click set to wide open and the dry volume shut off…..played w/ it out at The Little Red Rooster Blues Jam in Doylestown, PA, and when I stepped on the switch….you could almost hear the heads turning…and everyone was trying to figure out where the keyboard playing was coming from ….which was fun to watch…there wasn’t a one in the room…

So that’ll work, and thanks to the anonymous rocket scientist I was fortunate enough to speak to who has not even a minimum of creativity and “think outside the box thought process” in his body….although he was sure to ask for a video if it worked….lol….gotta love him for that one…NOT…thanks again, pal….

….but for the harp players that MIGHT see this post, you might want to think about it…not as an all the time kind of a thing, but for the occasional solo….it’ll definitely turn some heads for you…even in a room full of harp and blues players…..!…although, I’d not recommend using it when you have a keyboard player….a real keyboard players’ always a better thing to have if you’re fortunate….but if he’s been annoying you or something lately….it’ll definitely piss him off….lol…

BTW, I use a Shaker Mad Dog Harp Mic played through a Lafayette 75 amp (12” spkr, 15W tube) http://www.myrareguitars.com/guitar-pictures/vintage-1960s-lafayette-LA75-guitar-amplifier-04.jpg

Thanks for a great product EHX!
