Just picked up the Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai pedal… First impressions are great but I seem to be getting a lot of random popping and crackling noise when quickly tweaking the Decay and Filter knobs. Is this a common issue with these units or does this sound like some sort of defect with the pedal? I’m using the SMMH with a Nord synth. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thx.
are you using the power supply that came with the pedal?
Yes, using the provided power supply.
I’d take it back to the store and get another one. . . it sounds like a faulty unit.
Definitely exchange it for another. That kind of crackling noise isn’t normal. What kind of cables are you using?
with original power supply the noise certainly isn’t normal as said before… i eperienced some ugly noise usng daisychain, but with original power supply it’s dead quiet
