Sorry if this has been posted before but after all that talk about it costing £135 or whatever Dolphin had that stupid pre-order price up as I thought i’d better set the record straight…. anyway as I suspected it was utter balls.
….and I’m happy to report the UK price from Hotrox is just £65

(and in the interest of fairness, probably also available for the same/similar price from other UK retailers….other than dolphin!)

September 5, 2009 at 9:53 pm #101213electro-melxModeratorglad to help.
I also noticed tonight that Hotrox are sold out until the end of september, they must be selling well…not that I’m suprised, that little delay has to be the bargain of the year.

if they weren’t populating the boards overseas I seriously doubt they could keep up on an international scale.
…it’s amazing how things have been going since the diecast switch, it’s the best thing the company have ever done imo….yeah, we all love the big old cases but I can’t imagine half of the new, affordable and exciting pedals we have now would have happened with things as they were….it’s also good to see that some the profits are being put back into creating new pedals….it’s been an amazing few years for the company….and long may it continue.

And now we can clearly see how prices can differ from one country to another in Europe. In France, for example, the super pas cher (super cheap) price is 97 Euro, much higher than the best UK price which works out at about 63 Euro at the present exchange rate.
