    No, it uses different chips. Plenty of those chips around and they’re often used to make fake MN3005. Only 1/2 the delay time, though.

    so the original DMM and the dmm XO run different chips?,
    to your understanding is there an audible difference?,, I have an original big box and
    a recent xo – and the xo zings , clarity – the big box is the mellow one
    snakeoil or science?

    Probably some minor differences in circuitry. I don’t have an XO DMM to compare.

    if we mailed them pedals that had the proper chips in them, do you think they’d frankenstein up a DMMwTT for us?
