Suddenly having trouble with my Turnip Greens.
The Soul Food side sounds as it should, but when the Holy Grail is engaged, it sounds SUPER compressed and splatty with a very significant volume drop. This happens no matter which direction the before/after switch is set. Buffer is always switched on.
Never had a problem with this pedal until last night.
Any ideas what I might try to troubleshoot?

I may have eliminated my own problem…
I had recently added an Octave pedal to my pedal chain, in this order:
Germanium Boost > Octave > Delay > Turnip Greens
Realizing that the Octave pedal was the variable in this situation, I moved it to the front of the chain:
Octave > Boost > Delay > Turnip Greens
It sounds fine now (fantastic, really). Could simply changing the position of the Octave pedal have resolved my issue?
Not likely that would change the reverb effect!
Something else is up. Maybe a weird cable or amp set up??
