    What pedals haven’t you tried FUZZ?

    I am afraid to say, the HOG and POG. I liked the Mocro Pog so much, I never tried the original. And also the Stereo Polyphase.

    This place allows you to grab a box and run it through some old Sovtek Tube Amps. Remember the Migs?

    okay, well I’m convinced. I’m ordering one later today. Does a power supply come with it? Does it run on batteries? None of the retail sites I’ve seen mention whether it runs on an adapter or batteries…

    no batteries, all the tube pedals come with their own special power supply…it runs on AC.

    Yes comes with power supply. No batteries.

    No battery can power the power of 12ax7’s in ehx pedals ;)

    I just checked mine (which I’ve had for years) and it says ‘envelope filter + distortion’ — you’re saying you’ve seen newer ones screened ‘tube maze’? Or is that one old too?

    It strikes me as rather odd — as I can’t really see why the screen would have been changed (knobs may certainly change from time to time, but that’s a very simple swap — but changing the screen takes lots more intentional effort).

    Curious!

    lol, well if you don’t know….I sure as hell don’t!!!

    We’ll have to ask Mike!!

    I presumed ‘tube maze’ was the first and maybe it was thought too confusing and people didn’t understand what it was so it was changed to ‘evelope filter + distortion’ to make it clear what it was the pedal did!!!

    the ‘tube maze’ version has graphics on the side of the case too I think. (tubezipper will confirm this)

    a MAZE ing…

    and: yep, one of the first 5 production pedals did have printing on the side…
    (dunno `bout the current ones…)

    oh, yes, and it did come in a russian pinewood slidetopbox!

    The tube zipper has a graphic on the side

    Interesting! So you don’t remember any being screened ‘tube maze’ either? Plot thickens!
