    Hi
    I’ve just bought new a Tube Zipper pedal and neither of the tubes glow when the unit is on. I’ve got a Blackfinger as well and the tubes always glow when its on. I don’t know if the tube zipper is supposed to be like that or if its faulty? It does create sound although its silent when the drive knob is down.

    pre-amp tubes don’t always glow, though some of them are backlit in some of the pedals to add a bit of the effect.

    I don’t have a tube zipper to tell you if it’s working incorrectly, but it sounds fine to me.

    Thanks for the reply, does anyone know for sure? Seems strange that the blackfinger does but not the tube zipper?? :)
