I just orderd a Tube EQ, I havent gotten it yet, and I’m anxious. I’ll be playing it through a Vox AC30 with an SG-Standard along with a verity of pedals. My question is this, is there any benefit to changing or up-grading the tubes in the Tube EQ? If so, what tubes would be good?
Thanx,
Louis Vigo
The tubes in my Tube EQ are the Sovtec 7025 or 12AX7s. Sorry, but I love this thing so much that I haven’t contemplated doing anything with the tubes on it as of yet. Man, this thing is so freaking awesome!
Got two more questions about Tube EQ. Does anybody know about its input & output impedance? And does anybody noticed a subtle noise it produces even with pedals level knobs all the way counterclockwise. Is that my issue or else? Anyway, dig this pedal so much. Thanks!
If you write info@ehx they can answer that question!
I posted here & there, and you were first with the responce. They still keep mysterious silence.
From EHX support:
Tube EQ
Input Impedance: 50K
Output Impedance: 2K
