Hi!
I have a triangle big muff, and while it sounds really great, it lacks sustain when playing on high E string on higher frets. The sound kind of dies quickly. Is it a common behavior? Could there be an issue with the pedal, the guitar or the amp? With a tubescreamer in front of the big muff, I have no problem though (which is not really surprising).
Thanks!
Hi the Muffs has tons of gain and sustain. I would check your guitar. It might need new strings.
Or the pick up may be to high.
Try a different guitar.
Of course it has lots of gain and sustain, so I was surprised! The strings are new, so I checked the pickups. I like my pickups fairly low, but my bridge pickup was a bit too low. I raised it a few millimeters on the high E side and bam! problem solved!
Thanks!
GREAT!
