The guy at the link below is selling a Double Muff for $175 or best offer. I sent him a message saying he’s sorely mistaken and the sell for $60 brand new everywhere. He replied back that he was truly surprised and that he had not long ago paid almost $130 for it in a bidding war on ebay. So, just to clarify, the Double Muff is a recent model only, correct? There is no such thing as a vintage Double Muff, right? I tried to research it to back up my claim to him, but couldn’t find any info on when it was introduced. Anyone know?

you’re right,
If I remember rightly it was introduced around 2001/2002 that’s when I first saw them, the guy is talking rubbish he even has it listed as a ‘double big muff pi’ which it isn’t…

if he really did pay that much in a ‘bidding war’ then he was very foolish, but I seriously doubt it.
Double big muff pi? its not even ONE big muff pi!
yeah i payed the same price for mine as the one Ron posted, great price for it, but i wouldn’t pay much more for it anyway.
You know you can modify the muff fuzz OD into a one knob woolly mammoth with just a few parts? Just a FYI!
Never actually done it but the schematics are near identical.
