I dug up my old (well, not TOO old) EH “The Worm”, as I just picked up a 1977 Rhodes Seventy Three last night. The pedal sounds great, as far as what it is supposed to do.. but oh my goodness, the noise from the modulation is RIDICULOUS. I vaguely recall tossing this pedal into the storage drawer for this exact reason.
I am wondering if anyone has the schematic/layout for the PCB inside the unit. For a 24v pedal, one would think that the unit would be much quieter than this. The pedal is out of warranty, so the time has come to bust out the o’scope and find out what needs to be changed.
Anyone have any input they’d like to share? I’d appreciate it!
