Microsynth (XO)
Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai
Voicebox
Stereo Clone Theory (XO)I haven’t read through all the manuals for these pedals yet.. So if this info is listed there, ignore me so I may find it on my own. Oh, and thank you, EH Man for the Excel Sheet!
TGM
Dr. Q (Nano) mine measured is 1.95mA

Deluxe Memory Boy: 100 mA
Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai: 170 mAThe rest will be coming soon.

I’ll add to it as time permits and info becomes available. That spreadsheet is great! Thanks for making it EH MAN.

THanks. Just updated it with the new info.
February 8, 2011 at 9:11 pm #114200Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorSome more current draw measurements:
Micro Metal Muff = 18mA
Pocket Metal Muff = 9mA
Original POG = 220mA
Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai = 170mA
Stereo Clone Theory = 14mAFebruary 11, 2011 at 3:24 pm #114242peerMemberwhat is the draw/ correct power supply for the micro synthesizer, not the new one but the black model?
February 17, 2011 at 3:40 pm #114354dasojaParticipantGreat initiative!
I would really like to know the current draw for the following pedals:
Stereo Electric Mistress
Holy Grail Plus
Stereo Clone TheoryThanks!
February 17, 2011 at 9:05 pm #114358Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorHoly Grail + = 190mA
Stereo Electric Mistress = 160mA
Classic Microsynth = 70mA @ 24VDC
Stereo Clone Theory = 14mAFebruary 21, 2011 at 9:19 pm #114411dasojaParticipantAfter my newest investments, I would also really like to know the current draw for #1 Echo and the Micro Q-tron, thanks!
February 26, 2011 at 3:16 pm #114486scytheMemberHi,
I have an EH 2ube stereo tube pedal, and an EH 12ay7 micpre. Both have the EH12v1000ma psu, but I would like to reduce the amount of wart chaos on my pedal board.
What is the real current draw of each these pedals? Is it possible to cascade to both pedals from a single EH12v1000ma psu?
Lastly: Is there a power brick you can recommend for a floor board that could accomodate these pedals, as well as other pedals (most bricks seem to offer no more than a few hundred ma per 12v output.. which probably won’t be enough, right?).
For info:
This is for a live vocal pedal board that splits to stereo effects, so the 12ay7 handles vox in, and 2ube takes the stereo line signal out…Thanks for your help.

The tube pedals use AC power, not DC. I’m not aware of any power supplies that could handle 2 tube pedals. The filaments for each pedal alone would be around 300mA (150mA each tube).
February 26, 2011 at 3:40 pm #114488scytheMemberHoly cow. A reply within 10 minutes? Thats gotta be a record
If the tube pedals draw 300ma, and the 12v psu can push a full amp, then tt should be safe enough to cascade both pedals from a single EH 12v psu right? The EH website describes the PSUs as unique, which I assume is simply regarding the high output.. but is there anything else I need to think about if I try this 2-from-1 approach?
Thanks for your help!

Only the filaments draw 300mA. The rest of the circuitry will also draw some current. If you can use an ammeter or know someone who does, you can read the total current draw easily enough.

Thanks for the response.

My question is: do I need a different power supply for the HOG to work in Japan? Can the HOG run off of a Pedal Power (Japanese version)? Thanks for your help.I don’t know about the Pedal Power but the HOG needs about 250mA at 9VDC. The HOG’s US AC Adapter will probably work ok in Japan but you would be better off buying the Japanese version of that AC Adapter or using another power supply.
The polarity of the HOG’s power jack is center positive.
You better purchase a HOG’s AC Adapter from US and HOG’s AC Adapter from Japan to make sure it works.
