Hi. I ordered a Flanger Hoax which is due to arrive tomorrow. The instruction PDF stipulates that I am to only use the 18V 500mA adapter that ships with it. The spreadsheet here shows that the FH requires 75 mA. I have an unused 18V 100mA power source in my S8. Is that safe to use to power the pedal? Thanks.

Is your unused power supply 18VDC or 18VAC? Before you attempt to use the 18VDC/100mA power supply, make sure the output plug is center-positive and the size is 5.5 x 2.5 (mm). Otherwise, yes, 100mA should be sufficient to power the Flanger Hoax.

Is your unused power supply 18VDC or 18VAC? Before you attempt to use the 18VDC/100mA power supply, make sure the output plug is center-positive and the size is 5.5 x 2.5 (mm). Otherwise, yes, 100mA should be sufficient to power the Flanger Hoax.

The S8 has one 18V 150mA output, not 100mA as I previously stated. It is center negative so I will need a polarity reversal cable as the Flanger Hoax requires 18V center positive. Thanks.

Yes, you have it right. A Voodoo Labs PPL6 cable should do the trick.

Hi, lately I have problems with the power supply of the good vibes, the manual says 45mA at 9VDC but my 120mA 9V multi-output power supply can not drive it.
I measured with a multimeter and the consumption is about 140mA, even with its power supply. Is this normal?

Thinking about getting a OpAmp Muff Pumpkin Patch JHS Mod, only thing is, they are only shipping from japan atm. Will it run on a regular uk 9v power supply or will I have to source some kind of adaptor?
