Want to know what the current draw is for a particular EHX pedal? This will be a good place to ask. We’ll check the thread and find answers as often as we can.
Someone recently asked about the Flanger Hoax, so we’ll start with that: 75 mA from an 18 VDC power supply.
The EH man has taken all the info so far and compiled it into a spreadsheet for easier search and access. He’ll add to it as time permits and info becomes available.

March 5, 2010 at 11:42 pm #108221Ned FlandersModeratorMost big muffs are between 1.5-6mA, depending if they have an LED.
I have a small list I have started to compile so I’ll find it and post the muffs I have measured so far.March 8, 2010 at 8:59 pm #108266Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorQuote:bmptwBig Muff Pi w/ Tone Wicker = 5 mA

I have a small list I have started to compile so I’ll find it and post the muffs I have measured so far. This sounds right to me.
March 13, 2010 at 1:41 am #108436Japan JimMemberI live in Japan and will be going to the USA soon. Plan to purchase a HOG there (very expensive here in Japan) and bring it back here. My question is: do I need a different power supply for the HOG to work in Japan? Can the HOG run off of a Pedal Power (Japanese version)? Thanks for your help.
March 13, 2010 at 7:35 am #108448InvaderCCMemberCan you tell me which power adapter to use for a Memory Boy ..The original i believe has shot craps i know it is 45ma 9vdc ..But the closes EHX power supply i seen is 55ma 9vdc will this one work?

Thanks for your help.I run my HOG off a Pedal Power 2+. . . but I don’t think an original Pedal Power will run it, because the original Pedal Power doesn’t have the high current 5/6 outs like the PP2+ does. Japan vs US shouldn’t make a difference, because the outputs will still put out the right voltage.

Thanks for your help.I don’t know about the Pedal Power but the HOG needs about 250mA at 9VDC. The HOG’s US AC Adapter will probably work ok in Japan but you would be better off buying the Japanese version of that AC Adapter or using another power supply.
The polarity of the HOG’s power jack is center positive.

Or you can use a 1 Spot.
