Very useful for tracking down a left or right line of effects pedals or blending a mix of two separate rows of effects pedals or swerving from amp1 to amp2 or blending in a mix of both. Used to have two. One was modded, the other apparently left the stage area at an open air gig on its own volition. Would be good for a re-issue since it would tie in (yes) with a (the?) re-issue of the Crying Tone Wah Pedal since they share the same housing with the Volume Pedal too. So that is three new re-issues possible with one pedal housing! Does this make economic sense? I have attached a picture of the Pan Pedal that I found on the net at musiq.be.
All the following used the same housing type in fact. Yes, that makes five,so maybe….
1) Crying Tone
2) Volume Pedal
3) Muff Fuzz Crying Tone
4) Talking Pedal
5) Pan PedalThere was one other I used, same housing as the others with a type of Bowden cable attached to it which would then in turn be fastened on to the Delay Rate pot on my Memory Man (after removing the knob) so it was possible to control the delay time with a foot pedal while playing. Using a super tight delay it was effective in “bending” the notes I played on the Deagan Electravibe when and as I wished. What was that pedal called? I have it in the cellar somewhere. Have to go and look.

April 17, 2009 at 1:17 pm #95766WatsonWoodMemberThanks, Ron. Of course, the Hotfoot. So now the list reads as follows:
1) Crying Tone
2) Volume Pedal
3) Muff Fuzz Crying Tone
4) Talking Pedal
5) Hotfoot
6) Pan PedalAll share the same housing and treadle. Does a series of re-issues of these pedals make economic, and musical, sense? I certainly think so.

Don’t forget the treadle versions of the Bad Stone and the Octave Multiplexer :thumb:
See here: http://www.bostonguitar.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=BGWI&Category_Code=VE-EHI would love to have the whole series. I currently have the Volume Pedal, the HotFoot, the Crying Tone, and the Muff Fuzz Crying Tone. I would get the Talking Pedal if it weren’t so outrageously pricey on eBay.
April 18, 2009 at 12:51 am #95778WatsonWoodMemberThank-you! I did once catch a glimpse of the Multiplexer version in Paris. When I returned to the music store two days later to try it out, it had already gone. I have never seen one since then. At the moment I have two Volume pedals, two Crying Tones (one each of the versions I know), two Muff Fuzz Crying Tones and a Hotfoot ( as I said before…that is somewhere in the cellar).
I also now remember the Queen Triggered Wah. Great gear! I saw it, tried it, earned some money, came back to buy it a week later……too late, gone! Now the list is as follows:-
1) Crying Tone
2) Volume Pedal
3) Muff Fuzz Crying Tone
4) Talking Pedal
5) Hotfoot
6) Bad Stone Treadle
7) Octave Multiplexer Treadle
Queen Triggered Wah
9) Pan Pedal(I have a feeling there might be another one….)
So now the list has reached nine different pedals with the same housing and treadle systems. The economics of a series re-issue look good.
April 19, 2009 at 5:10 am #95808st.bedeMemberI would seriously think of using one of those…(pan pedal) what if it also hand an fx loop, just a thought.
April 19, 2009 at 11:34 am #95815WatsonWoodMemberExcellent thought. There are a lot of effects and useful devices which could be mounted in these types of rocker pedals…if the series gets started again!

April 20, 2009 at 10:21 am #95859WatsonWoodMemberFoot controllable Sample & Hold. Blended Looper. Unlimited opportunities to integrate effects with foot control already ….. at your feet…..without having to add another cable, lead or pedal.
And here is a photo of my Crying Tone / Volume Pedal family. The Pan Pedal is still in the cellar.
September 21, 2009 at 1:01 am #101642nibblegribitzMemberHi,
I recently came across a “mint” Queen Triggered Wah and a Octave Multiplxer Treadle(missing feet) while going through some stuff in my closet.
Any body think I’ll get a good price on ebay?
I just sold a triangle second edition(really clean)Big muff for 500+ and a “mint” rackmount Vocoder for 500+.(thought I might get more for the Vocoder)nibblegribitz
December 11, 2009 at 3:08 pm #105192WatsonWoodMemberThe Pan Pedal is out of the cellar and performing all its tasks splendidly. Great stuff, solid CT chassis, good sound, no scratchy noises. Amazing after all this time but the CT enclosure series were really built to last, no question about that. A re-issue of this magic brother would help musicians enormously in creating and controlling their sound(s) while performing, either in studio or on stage.
December 11, 2009 at 5:28 pm #105202Mr.GrimMemberwow nice collection of treadles WatsonWood. they seem to be in like new condition, way better then ones pictured online as references.
December 11, 2009 at 7:00 pm #105210Fender&EHX4everModeratorI just picked up an Octave Multiplexer treadle a couple of months ago. It needs a bit of TLC, but when it is working correctly it sounds great!

I have been able to pick up another Crying Tone Wah, though, in great working order thanks to the EH Man. Ron is definitely a blessing to us earth musicians. And thanks for the kind comment Mr.Grim. I do enjoy the sounds they make too.
