Alright, so I don’t know about you guys, but I like talking about what might be with new pedals. It gives me some sort of weird satisfaction. If you’re the same, this thread is for you. Here’s what I said about the Memory Boy:
From what I understand, this pedal is more than just a tiny replica of the Memory Man—more than just a Micro POG, so to speak. The three-way switches is where I’m guessing new stuff comes in. Perhaps a switch that allows you to make the repeats continue and fade out after you’ve turned off the pedal, somewhat like the Subdecay Echobox? Perhaps one of the three-way switches lets you use an expression pedal. As for the knobs, I’m inclined to agree with Fender&EHX4ever;[Blend, Feedback, Delay Time, and Modulation].
Here’s a pic of the Memory Boy that was in the engineer’s demo of the Screaming Bird (Thanks to tubezipper for that):

April 6, 2009 at 11:15 pm #95380julianModeratorXO analog delay with modulation is what I’m expecting
April 6, 2009 at 11:21 pm #95381tubezipperModeratorAll i hope is a longer delay time

That is why I said small XO instead of XO. If I had to guess maybe the only difference will be it runs on 9 volts.April 7, 2009 at 7:58 am #95400DiscoFreqParticipantQuote:Not!

4 knobs + 2 toggles…
The toggles could be:
right toggle (3 positions):
* delay/chorus/vibrato
* delay time range
* …left toggle (2 positions?):
* trails on/off
* direct on/off
* filter on/off (on each repeat)
* modulation on/off
* delay time range
* …April 7, 2009 at 8:40 am #95401SupremePancakeMemberI’m betting the toggles are probably a Chorus/Vibrato and Modulation On/Off. Nothing wrong with that if it is. Besides maybe a longer delay time there isn’t much that needs to be improved on I feel. I small difference would warranty a knew model if their was a demand for it in a smaller enclosure I believe. Since MXR has released the Carbon Copy I believe people are waiting on a EHX reply. I wonder what the price will be. Maybe somewhere in $150-200?

That’s great… Somebody got a sneak peak of the new Big Foot Muff. This is the same muff from the golden age of classic cinematography… the long hairy fuzz. Step on this one with your size 13.
Nice find Graphic Fuzz….

Of course, Fuzz is just kidding.
That’s Mike.

…and yes Scott, the illustration was based on Mike
