I would love to see a compact pedal with the features of the left side ( attack, filter, detune) of the pog2 with expression control over the filter. I find that I am primary using the pog2 as a “slow gear” type effect and a filter. It would be awesome if I could use the filter as a false wah. I’ve yet to find a better pedal for attack swell effects, the pog2 does it perfectly, but I really don’t need the octave effects.
Absolutely. (Although I think those functions are on the right side of the POG2 interface).
The attack filter (slow gear) alone in a nano enclosure would be must-have kit for me. Its really the only reason I tolerate the POG2 on my board; otherwise I’d go with a Micro or Nano POG for the octaves.
Hear that EHX… you can take my money for TWO NEW PEDALS with no need to develop new algorithms or anything other than copy/paste stuff into nano boxes!
Created an account just now for the express purpose of resurrecting this old thread. I’ve emailed EHX before to let them know they can take all my money if they will make the filter side of the POG(attack, LPF, detune) into a tiny pedal with expression option. Throw in some extra bells and whistles if you like(midi in/out would be handy), but even if it was just those 3 parameters, I bet it would sell like crazy.
That’s the extent of my post. This wheel is going to keep squeaking until it gets some oil!! 😉
