I Love my Freeze pedal. I bought it to make clean guitar, keyboard type sustain, as I’m sure a lot of people did. I think the thing this pedal is missing is a decay feature.

For instance: play a chord, hit the pedal to sustain, pedal sustains for a period similar to the sustain of an actual strummed chord, then the chord fades out. It would also be interesting if the decay length was adjustable.

Well some things aren’t possible in real time. Like pre-verb or pre-delay.

    I think you are right!Surprising!

Yes, a decay feature like that would be excellent. Just needs one more little built-in chip really and an on/off toggle switch.

I’ve been playing with my freeze for a while now and while I love it, it can be a little cumbersome to use to its full potential. I would love to see this in an expression pedal where the rocker adjusted the effect level dial up and down so I could swell in and out. I would have the switch reversed and have it become active on release as you move the pedal from the heel to the toe position. For a quick freeze just a tap of the toe on the front of the unit. If I was more mechanically inclined, I’d try to build it myself.
