I was playing around with a few chorus pedals at a local shop and noticed The Clone Theory is much more quiet that what I remember it used to be. At least the one I played with was as quiet as the Small Clone and other popular chorus pedals. No heavy white noise (hiss) and no volume decrease on the Vibrato mode as my older Clone Theory which I got rid of a couple of years ago. Anyway, I always loved the sound of The Clone Theory over the Small Clone and had to have it. I must admit, I’m not knowledgeable about electronics and I couldn’t tell you what’s changed, but I’m glad I got the chance to revisit The Clone Theory.
