Hey all here EHX.
Im in a little pit of a pickle. Here in the U.K. the bass big muff or blogger are hard to find to try out. I have seen a Standard USA EHX Big Muff (the one for normal guitars, and know of many a bass player who use this pedal. Would any of you recommend me trying out this pedal, just to see if it takes my fancy, or is not worth it? Also can you guys pass any views about the Bass Big Muff, Big Muff or Bass BLogger you have, good or bad.
Thanks for all your help,
Josh
The Bass Big Muff is excellent w/ (you guessed it) Bass.
I bought mine w/o hearing it first & I use it all the time.
The Dry Blend is a great feature.
I also have the Big Muff Pi but I like the Bass Big Muff
better for (you guessed it) Bass.
I would try the regular Big Muff w/ Bass – if you like it you
love the Bass version.
i would suggest trying a russian big muff fist as it sounds closer to the bass model than the us.
unfortunatly they are even harder to find in the UK because you can’t buy them new (due to them not being RoHS compliant) so the chances of ‘trying before buying’ are almost nil.
I don’t think you would go wrong with the Bass Muff, it’s a fine sounding pedal.
