Hi everyone. This looks like the right place to show my Talking Pedal. No idea how old it is,I’ll try to get a photo of the serial # in better light tomorrow,it’s very poorly engraved and reads SN 001.
(Let me apologise in advance for the size of the pictures,I just learned how to post photos on the internet today and changing the size is confusing me. I’ll figure it out eventually.)

Talking Pedal Instructions
This unique electronic music accessory is the product of extensive research into the characteristics of human speech. The advanced solid-state circuitry which has been designed around the data abtained (sic) employs critically tuned resonant filtering to create the continuous vowel series “A,E,I,O,U” depending on pedal position. Consonant sounds can be produced by percussive input such as guitar string plucking or damping. The result is a pedal and musical instrument controlled speech synthesizer housed in an extremely durable cast metal case.

Nice pedal. I wouldn’t put too much stock in the “serial number” as that chassis version was the last wah chassis used before EH closed. It originally came in a more stylish chassis. Also, EH never serialized anything back then.
Yeah, the SN looks really bad. I’ll try and snap a photo ,probably have to go over it with a Sharpie to get some contrast.
Pics of it aren’t really needed. The number has no meaning and it’s not a serial number.
OK.
