Hi
I have an idea for mod for an newer Ehx pedal and I wondered if I could pay you guys to do it for me or if you could point me in the right direction of someone who could.
I recently bought the Ehx Synth9. I’m sure the outputs work similarly to the B9 etc. I love the sound of dumb 80s synths sorry! I tried plugging it in the way Ehx wanted me to with an amp dedicated to my usual guitar tone and another amp dedicated to the synth tone.
I immediately realized I would rather be sending my regular guitar tone stereo still rather than using my second amp for synth. Additionally, I thought it sounded better having my synth tone going through my delay and reverb but I couldn’t do that having them combined in the same signal because then the synth tone would be hit with overdrive tremolo chorus and whatever else I wanted to put on my regular guitar tone. Ughhhh.
I wondered if this pedal could be modded to have the synth/wet signal be exclusively the synth/wet signal and when the knob for synth volume was rolled back it would have literally no volume of anything not dry signal nothing. And likewise the dry signal output would just do dry and if the dry volume knob was all the way down it would literally have no volume.
My idea is to eventually combine the signals with another pedal right before the delay and reverb pedals and then send the combined tone stereo to two amps. I’m thinking the only way to do this otherwise is to run 3 amps and trigger two sets of delays and reverbs with midi which is way more gear and complication than I want.
Please please help me…
And thank you for your time!

Talk to Johnny at Alchemy Audio, if anybody can pull off this mod it will be him. http://alchemy-audio.com/
Hi Dave.
Maybe is not exactly what you are looking for, but I have made some modification on my B9 ( https://www.ehx.com/forums/viewthread/10197/ ) and I believe that the part related to the Dry/Mute function could help.
Have a look…
