I have a Synth 9 pedal that I use quite frequently blending the guitar in and out during particular songs. I currently have a wing knob on the blend knob to allow me to blend on the fly. I was wondering there is a mod I could do to modify the blend circuit to hookup a external expression pedal to allow me to blend the guitar in and out with the synth 9. Thanks
You could replace the DRY volume or SYNTH volume knobs with an expression pedal but instead of modding the pedal, you could just send the different outputs to different amps or to a mixer and use a volume pedal on the DRY volume to make those blend adjustments.
You “could” solder in a TRS input jack in place of the pot…
An easier and not permanent way would be to have the wet (SYNTH) signal go out to a volume pedal then back to amp then have them rejoin using a Y cable or separate inputs in a pedal or the amp?
