I’ve got me a Superego Plus and want to control it remotely with a footswitch, especially the bypass button.
I wasn’t able to activate the bypass via the footswitch connected to the EXT input (I tried both FS3X and Triple Foot Controller) though. According to the manual, all I need to do is attaching the footswitch to the ext input.
Am I missing something here and some extra configuration is necessary or did I get a faulty unity?
Yes, I used the cable that comes in the package and also tried a different TRS cable. T+R activates the effects section, just like the R switch. So there’s some signal coming through, but not the right one. Bypassing and cycling through the modes don’t work.
Thanks for the recommendation. Update: I got a replacement from my dealer and the new unity is working as designed. The old one was faulty in this regard.
