Hi all! I have a few more pedals on my board than the super switcher has loops for, so I had an idea to free up on of the loops. In essence, I have 2 different delays that I only ever alternate between, meaning they are never on at the same time, either a or b. So I’ve designed circuit board using either a 3pdt switch or 2 dpdt relays that I could use as an a/b loop switcher. It would work like any other loop switcher, but instead of turning each loop on or off, the flip of one switch would alternate between pedal a and pedal b. So here’s my dilemma, so to speak: I don’t want to have an additional pedal that I have to remember to switch on or off, I’d like to use the ctrl switch on my super switcher. I can achieve this by using a simple relay instead of using a switch in the pedal I’m building. This issue is that the relays will only alternate from a to b in power is supplied to that relay. So all of this to get to my question: IF i were to use the ctrl switch on this pedal, would it affect anything at all for me to send the negative power line through the ctrl switch to be alternated on or off? Would it fry the pedal? Would it create noise? Would it have any affect on anything at all to run 9v of the negative power through this ctrl line on the super switcher?
