Stereo TremoPan w/ TapTempo
I so much love Pan and Tremolo, but there isn’t any one pedal who does it all perfectly!
great would be the possibility to put an expressionpedal in and pan/tremo with you foot! would be amazing!
although the usual stuff like waveform, spacing, stereospread, speed and of course depth.
with the new “digital side controlles analogue side” technology, tap tempo should be no prob.
and of course a preset/hazarai switch.
therefor it maybe should be an XO.
maybe even envelope controlled speed!
GAS!

May 20, 2010 at 11:28 am #107896diegoartsMemberone more idea on this one:
i’m thinking Expression Input:
if there’d be an option to control speed and depth via EP, maybe it would be possible to control the Effect pedalwise, kinda like a volume pedal BUT with the option, that with different waveforms you either have a smooth transition of volume up/down, or an ON/OFF-pedal with square wave!
this way one could do freaky stutters via pedal.another plus would be in panning mode you could have a pan-treadle-pedal allowing you to control and accentuate the panning via EP!
how about that?
an why aren’t there any replies – don’t you people like a stereo tremopan pedal with taptempo?!
i can’t believe that!
best regards

May 20, 2010 at 11:17 pm #107802CryabetesParticipantyou can do pretty much all of this with a moogerfooger MuRF, except the presets.
cheers.May 21, 2010 at 12:25 am #107772Fender&EHX4everModeratorI”ve never understood the usefulness of a tap tempo or expression controlled trem.
But a trem whose rate is controlled via midi, clock out, or CV (IOW, a drum machine)? That makes sense to me. EHX, please do this ASAP!!!
May 21, 2010 at 2:34 am #107946CryabetesParticipant…expression pedal is the same as control voltage….
and I mostly use it to make people sea-sick.
May 21, 2010 at 8:26 am #107951diegoartsMemberexactly – think of you decide, which sounds in a solo you want to travel from left to right and back – seasickness, as cryabetes wrote – is the word!
AND – i think that tap tempo IS VERY useful for timebased effects!and – not all or even just a few of us use midi that often! for keyboarders – alright, but for guitarplayers seldomly needed!
Moogerfoogers are great! BUT – they aren’t stereo IN sadly! and – there isn’t any panning, or is there?!
and – it’s very expensive!!EHX can do with an “all-in-one”-tremopan effect! at least, that’s my opinion!
best regards

May 21, 2010 at 1:39 pm #107702CryabetesParticipantthere is panning on the MuRF. it pans the filter output to different channels based on which filter it is triggering.
also, if you’re using the panning, wouldn’t it need to be the first thing in the stereo chain, aka mono in? I mean, the only autopanner that I can think of that is stereo-in would be the Alesis Ampliton or maybe something on a Kaoss Pad or other multifx processor.
and +1 on the sentiment that not everyone has switched to midi – I’m a keyboardist by nature and I refuse to use either it or a computer for sound creation. I’m probably in the minority there, though.
May 21, 2010 at 2:43 pm #107682diegoartsMemberpanning on the murf – thats interesting!
maybe i have to look into this one a bit more…
although – stereo ins ARE very useful and for me necessary, coz there is a great difference if you put a trem/panner before or after a stereo delay – its amazin – try it!
stereo ins are in the mxr 159 and the line6 tap tremolo. the last one is in my chain, but it is not really good, sadly.

January 28, 2013 at 8:48 am #117753diegoartsMemberi don’t want to flood you forum, but now there also has to come a new stereo tremolo/pan pedal with CV in!
come on EHX – i want an all-Electro-Harmonix-Pedalboard and am lacking a few things.
April 10, 2014 at 8:14 am #119871diegoartsMemberoh, and this as well.
a stereo tremopan with the functionality of a dlx memory boy/man tt is so much needed.
there are not that much pedals like this.
and with the 8step you could have such great and weird panning and tremolo/slicing.
i so much hope for this to come.
