I thought the new Stereo Talking Machine might be a hybrid Analog/Digital pedal but reading the pedal’s manual it says, “envelope-controlled digital vowel filter”.
So are all the vocal formant sounds and the “legendary dual band filter of the EHX Bassballs” digitally modeled?
I guess so
I was hoping for a hybrid to get the best of both worlds. But then again I never even liked the Nano Bassballs (which EHX says is identical to the Bassballs meaning analog I guess). Compared to my Sovtek, It had a clicky-gate-closing sound on the end tails of long sustained notes. Un-useable for me. Maybe the digitally modeled version will be an improvement.
