i’m thinking of getting a tremolo pedal for my bass. do you know if i will lose low end with the stereo pulsar tremolo pedal if i run the bass through it?
Nope. Tremelo is a volume based effect, so your low end will be fine. I’ve played bass through a Pulsar (I love tremelo, and think it’s underused by bassists) and it sounds great.
That said, tremelo can cause perceived volume loss, regardless of the instrument you’re using, since your volume will drop 1/2 the time, so I like to use a booster afterwards, like the LPB-1, for instance.
