    I bought a “EHX Stereo Polychorus” and noticed that the Power LED light (top left corner) doesn’t turn ON and OFF when I hit the effect bypass switch ON and OFF … It just stays ON all the time !!! …

    Is this normal? The only way it turns OFF is if the unit is switched OFF using the ON/OFF toggle switch. I saw some demonstrations of this pedal online and I noticed that other peoples power LED’s were turning ON/OFF properly with the bypass switch.

    Any suggestions?
    Maybe a bad soldering connection inside?

    my Qtron+ was the same and yes I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be like it.

    maybe they changed it for the newer ones or something, that might explain why they go on and off in the demos you’ve seen, I think it’s quite an easy modification to do too.

    if you can post a photo of the insides I’m sure someone would be able to tell you if it’s wired for the LED top go on and off with the switch.

    It’s wired as a power LED from the factory. It’s relatively simple to rewire it for status.
