    I don’t have much bad to say about EHX. But the one rather large issue i have is that most of their stereo pedals don’t offer stereo inputs. for example, if you have a chain of stereo pedals, you can only get the goods from the last pedal in the chain.

    i have a Stereo PolyPhase, Stereo Electric Mistress, Stereo Pulsar, Stereo Clone Theory, and Stereo Cathedral in my chain. all these pedals have two outputs, but not two inputs, so the stereo outputs on the first 4 pedals are wasted because they can’t go into the input of the next pedal.

    too bad.

    To offer stereo inputs they would have to double most of the components inside so each channel has it’s own circuitry. It would be exactly the same as having 2 of each pedal.

    Is that how Boss does it? i have a couple stereo pedals (delay and reverb) and they have two ins and two outs.

    Or do they just fake it?

    (please don’t think i’m trying to compare glorious EHX pedals to run-of-the-mill Boss pedals. just curious i you know how they pull it off)

    DSP chips are a little easier to do that with than analog stuff.

    i dont currently run a stereo pedal board, but you can do what i do when it is….

    get a mini pedal size mixer that will fit on your board, i have an EHX one, and there are good other brands out there as well, like Mackie, and Bearinger.

    run your pedal board normal like you all ready probably have it, but take all the second outputs run directly to the mixer instead of the next pedal, and mix them with the one main mono signal at the end with the mixer!

    Now you’ve got me thinking about this………

    I have a few stereo pedals, which I just run ‘in line’ and ignore the stereo inputs/outputs.

    Could I have an ‘effects loop’ in between 2 stereo pedals?

    For example – I have my Stereo Pulsar running directly into my Stereo Memory Man w Hazarai. Could I use the stereo ‘out’ on my Pulsar and the 2nd input on the SMMH to connect other pedals in between?

    Can anyone post here a list of the EHX pedals that DO HAVE stereo inputs?
