I use and love my Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai, at the moment preparing a solo bass performance with this unit and a POG2, amazing! I modified both pedals by adding a parallel external switch to the memory man’s tap button and the pog2’s preset button. Both features worked perfectly for some days.
Now the memory man’s tap/record function doesn’t work anymore, other than that the pedal works fine. I checked it with the multimeter using the diode testing feature. When the button is off the display reads 1325 instead of nothing. Is there anything I can do to get the tap/record back to work again?
maybe you could order and install a new switch and see if that works . did anyone from the firm try to help you? when performing musicians use their products in interesting ways other potential customers usually crowd around and want to know all about it. the only people that don’t want to know about it are EHX customer service employees.
Thanks for your reply. The switch is not the problem, it’s definitely somewhere deeper. Obviously this topic is not necessarily something that’s interesting to EHX people
