Hey everyone, I just got my NEW SMMH yesterday have been enjoying it much. I have however come across a problem that I can’t tell whether or not it’s a problem with the pedal or if it’s just the way the pedal works. Also I have read the manual over and over and I cant find anything pertaining to my problem. So here goes. When I tap a tempo and save a preset when I power down OR change presets then go back the tempo is not the same as when I tapped it. In fact the ONLY way I have been able to save a preset with a correct tempo is by using the delay knob to approximate the tempo. So I cant tell whether or not this is just how the pedal performs or if something is wrong. The other thing I have noticed is if I am playing a preset with the correct tempo, change the tempo either by the knob or tap and then go to another preset in which I have ALSO saved a tempo (from the knob) the preset I changed to will NOT have the correct tempo. So if anyone can offer any suggestions as to whether or not I have it wrong I would REALLY appreciate it. I have not much time before I would have to send it back.

    Thanks in advance!

I just did a few trials on mine and mine properly stores and recalls tapped tempos. Maybe you have a revision that doesn’t work like that, I don’t know.

email info@ehx.com and you can ask their engineers about it. Just know they get a ton of emails so if they don’t respond after 3-4 days just email them again. I think emailing them during work hours works best.
