I’ve noticed that lately my Stereo Memory Man w/Hazarai has been making my overdubs in loop function a way higher volume than the previous overdub loop – so much so, that each overdub dominates the previous loops by about 80%.
I don’t recall this happening before, so I went back to the owner’s manual and followed the settings, no change. I thought it might be since I have it in FX loop so I switched back to series, and no change. Has anyone had this problem before? I’d really like to stack several layers of tracks and have them near even volume. Thanks!
I am not sure what the deal is but now everything is working even before I tried the EHX advice below. I think it might have been that the original loop was short, and my overdubs were too long.
Also, EHX was kind enough to give me a quick reply directly:
“Thanks for purchasing the Hazarai. When you create your loops where you experiencing this problem, what mode are you in? If you are in LOOP mode, the solution will be to turn the REPEATS knob clockwise. While in LOOP mode the REPEATS knob controls the amount attenuation applied to the old loop while overdubbing new audio. If REPEATS is maxed there will be no attenuation.”
