Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › Spacial Chorus Effect – Which pedal?
Hi Everyone,
I’m looking to reproduce the spacial (not even sure if that’s the right word) chorus effect used in late 80’s hard/classic rock (for example, Eddie Van Halen during the Hagar years) and I’m looking at the nano clone. Would you guys recommend this? If not, any suggestions?
Cheers,
Matt
Boss DC-2
Failing that, a CE-2. But DC-2 is “spatial”
John Fromel makes a great (better) clone.
Ah yes the DC-2, not something I’m willing to spend £150 on considering it’s discontinued, unfortunately
I think Behringer dd a clone…or BBE or one of those companies too.
The Fromel is in production and sounds better, but it’s $300. I got one of his first ones when they were a bit cheaper.

EDIT: It was Behringer — CC300 Space-C — it’s $30 or so?

You have to run these things in stereo though otherwise you lose the whole point. They sound huge in a stereo rig.
