Love my Sovtek 5751 in V1 of my EHX MIG 50 with an EHX 7025 in V2 and a Mullard 12AX7 in V3 with a pair of Sovtek 6L6WXT+’s in the power section. While scrolling through ebay I saw some pretty extreme price gouging on Sovtek 5751’s, Two listings from one seller for $75 ea. and one from another seller for $150. These listings also broke the news to me that these are no longer being manufactured. Hence the price gouging. Luckily I’ve got a couple backups. Does anybody know why New Sensor decided to stop manufacturing these? Also, does anybody know how the Tung Sol 5751’s compare to the Sovtek’s?
