Hey – I have a Nano Soul Preacher. It’s a great compressor, and I’m well aware that any compressor will add noise when engaged. However, I’m finding it to be a noisy pedal all the time, anywhere in the chain, it creates a lot of Hiss in my signal, whether powered by mains or battery. It’s got nothing to do with the effect itself, for that matter, I can use the trimpot to reduce the noise of the engaged pedal, but has anyone got any suggestions about reducing the interference when not engaged? Or do I just need to replace it – and if so, any suggestions ??
That’s strange. If you can easily exchange for a new one – that’s what I’d do.
