Its been about 6 months I started building my pedalboard and finally im there.
And now thinking a bit to go some extra.
Please check my pedal board, its definelty for heavy metal, more precisely Symphonic Rock/Metal, and sound of my band is at http://www.Revervbnation.com/deillumination
I have already got the Boss cs-3 before, should I go for the nano soul preacher? Im looking for more quality and of course pedal board space..
Thanks.
I don’t think so, unless you just want something different. It’d be more of a cross-grade. Definitely a different feel than the CS-3 but they’re both pretty noisy. If you want “better” you should look into an Empress or Barber comp or, maybe, BYOC.

I think the soul preacher is warmer with a slight grit and more organic sounding than the CS-3 which is very clean and sterile in comparison. [not a bad thing, just a different use].
I’m considering getting a soul preacher to use as a sort of fat boost into my JC-120.
