    Hi, i want to buy the soul food but i have one concern about it. Since it is supposed to be a klon clone, does it have that clean bleed/mix going on with the overdrive?

    Hmmm… I was under the assumption it was more of a Fulltone PlimSoul clone, if you want to call it that. Now I’m interested in hearing what the official stance is on it.

    Sorry, but I see from the write up on EH’s product page that it is supposed to be like a Klon Centaur. I just got one of these amazing little pedals, and it is by far the best overdrive I’ve ever used. Do a search on Youtube for Soul Food Vs. and there are all kinds of shootouts between it and several Klons, a Boss SD-1, a Tubescreamer and some other boutique pedals and even a JHS modded Soul Food! I have to say that it stands up extremely well compared to all those other more expensive pedals. It absolutely eats the SD-1 and Tubescreamer for lunch. It is so clear and open it makes my ears smile. I can’t wait to get off work and get home so I can play with it some more.
