    So today I played with my SMMH after almost a month (I´d been away at college) and started noticing weird since I couldn´t get my loops in time/synch (this doesn´t happen ever) until it got to the point that I couldn´t erase a loop, I pressed and hold several times and nothing happened, after maybe 10 times of doing so, I got to erase the stored loop, but now it won’t work on loop mode or any of the other settings, I tried cleaning the switch, even checked for any bad solder connections but everthing seems to be in place, any help guys? I think this is the first time I ever see/read about a problem like this. Help me out I’m desperate, looping is pretty much what I got this pedal for.

    mmm….never heard of anything like that….I presume the power supply is ok and you aren’t using the wrong one by accident?

    switch could just be plain bad
    if it is still under warranty you could send it to EHX plus 5 bucks to have them look at it
    if it isn’t, you can still send it in, but it costs more

    Because its digital and complicated theres not much you can do yourself, send it to EHX and have it fixed by professionals!s

    There is no doubt that this is a footswitch problem. The SMMH will have to be sent for service.
    This can happen but when I talked with the main engineer, he said that he had seen it once and only once before. Your problems were spot on to an issue with the footswitch.

    I would send it in and it will be repaired right away.

    Thanks for the advice, sadly I’m located in Peru, and I don’t think I’ll get back to the US in at least a few months, I tried pulling it apart and carefully cleaning the area near the switch in question, it worked perfectly, but I’m quite concerned about this situation happening at a show or something. I hope it continues to work, otherwise I’m definitely gonna have to send it to my folks so they can get it repaired at EHX, thanks again.
