I recently (last night, actually) purchased a Small Stone Nano from a guy on Craiglist. Now obvious a fool and his money are soon parted, and I should have investigated this further, but we met at a subway station so I couldn’t check the status of the pedal before I bought it. I got it home and it’s passing a signal through when switched off, but when I click it on the LED light is barely lit up and it doesn’t pass anything through to the amplifier. I can see the light turn on, but it’s about 1/10 the brightness of my Big Muff pedal right next to it. I changed the battery with a fresh one with the same result.
Now, obviously I am not trying to knock EH in any way, I have several pedals from EH that I love and that work really well, I’m just trying to weigh my options. I’ve emailed the dude but I really doubt I’m going to hear back from him, is it worth it to have it repaired or at this point should I just cut my losses and buy a new pedal?
