    Hi!
    I have two small stones – a V1 (with neon-lettering) and a nano. Since I use them with a Minimoog and a Rhodes with a preamp, I want to give the small stones a bit more clean headroom (especially the v1 tends to show some distortion when I hit the keys hard), is it safe to run them at 12v instead of 9v?

    No you could blow the power supply section
